Welcome to our Mudville Dames Blog

Welcome to our Mudville Dames Blog. We hope that you stick around and read our reviews on the latest books and movies. Mudville Dames was conceptualized in December 2013 and brought to life in February 2014. We started this blog because of our love for both books and movies.

So now you're asking, who are these lovely dames?

Sceona:
Hi, I'm Sceona G. and I'm thrilled that you stopped by our brand new and very first blog. Here's a little bio about myself that I think you will enjoy. I'm currently dating a great guy and together we have 3 4 legged kiddos. Willow is my first born and she's half black lab and half chow who just turned 10! Willow loves to destroy squeakers and boss everyone around. Next came Trogdor who is a Tibetan spaniel mix and if I had to describe him in one word it would be explorer. He loves to visit other dogs and backyards when I'm not looking. Finally, we have Indiana Yoda Jones, Yoda for short, who is a black and tan long haired terrier/chihuahua mix. Yoda has way too much energy but such a great personality and he loves to cuddle.

Besides taking care of my pets, I love to read, watch movies, root for the SF Giants, Carolina Panthers, and Alabama softball team, go to country and pop concerts, learn new wheat-free dishes, play coed softball, and have a ton of adventures with my friends. I am currently a senior at Western Governors University where I'm about to graduate with my Bachelor's in Business Management. Even though I'm graduating with my B.S., my true passion is to become a screenwriter.

Frankie:
Hello readers! My name is Frankie B. and I’m so excited that you’re visiting our blog. Please allow me to tell you a little about myself: I’m married to a wonderful man and together we have 3 kick ass kids. I work full time for a forklift dealership, however, I indulge in my true passion as a hot air balloon crew member on weekends. I have an intense love of nature. I camp with my family as much as we can and can often be found leading hikes with the family hiking group, which I also organize. I am a proud native of Stockton California, which was historically known as Mudville…hence our namesake. As busy as I am, I still try to squeeze in as many novels and movies as I possibly can. I love a good story. I’m more than a little obsessed with my favorite author, Anne Rice (I’ve got the tattoo to prove it). That about sums me up! I hope you enjoy the blog!

Frankies Faves:

Books:  Memnoch the Devil by Anne Rice
                Hannibal by Thomas Harris
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson

Movies: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (Ben Stiller)
                   Interview With a Vampire
                   Bronson
                   Star Wars

Frankie is on the Left, I'm on the right.... This picture was taken by Frankie's husband while we were waiting in line for the Anne Rice and Christopher Rice signing to begin.
